“mesh” is founded by two Eichler Enthusiasts -- mark
easterday and sabrina huang, husband and wife, partners and friends
whose mission it is to impact and improve peoples lives through our
passion for serving clients far beyond buying and selling property --
we are their trusted advisors for all aspects of home ownership.
Our love of Eichlers began accidentally. Our home search of 2001 began
by me riding my bicycle through various neighborhoods that I felt would
be a nice place to live. On one particular trip through Willow Glen I
had to stop and ask a woman watering her front lawn “what are all these
modern-looking houses I see here with their flat or low-pitch
roofline?” She said “oh, these are Eichler homes” as I gave her a
curious look, “these were built during the early 60’s and may not look
like much from the front, but wait until you see the inside…”
Our research began in earnest and we went to our first open-house where
we met Connie Misiewicz, who was the queen of Eichlers at the time,
although we wouldn’t discover that until much later. After many months
and having seen dozens of Eichlers in Sunnyvale and San Jose, Connie
introduced us to the right home and we became proud Eichler owners.
Since then, we have remodeled both bathrooms, the kitchen, painted the
exterior, replaced all the flooring, and planted many fruit trees --
and we’re still not done!
Fast-forward deep into our real estate careers when a conversation
began with Jerry Ditto as he considered his next steps toward
retirement. We proposed to continue the Eichler Movement for the next
generation and bring our energy to community he has evangelized for so
long. As we have found throughout our careers, Eichler homes polarizes
people instantly -- either you “love them” or you “hate them”. We are
certainly on the “love them” side so with Sabrina’s keen eye to capture
each home in detail from the camera, and with Mark’s devotion to
serving clients to the deepest level possible, we are honored to work
with Eichler Enthusiasts for many years to come.
