Hi Asif,
Sometimes it does seem like a spike of sales on one street should mean something, but I can't speak for the sellers in these cases. That neighborhood of Eichlers has always been a good "entry-point" into Palo Alto so perhaps these owners are taking advantage of lower prices on their move-up house and buying bigger. Carolina and surrounding streets have always been near the train running along Alma, so that's nothing new. Perhaps you heard something about the proposed high-speed rail (not light rail).

Why are so many houses on Carolina Ln. going up for sale? I heard some rumblings about the light rail being built nearby? True?
